Accommodation:

Student Hostel Accommodation: Every room will accommodate 2 students. The rooms available are comfortable, pleasantly decorated, with free internet access and cable TV, refrigerator and TV set and private bathroom.

Bedclothes are supplied. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and laundry on every floor, a reading room and a social hall.

Rooms can be rented at a reasonable price: 230 lei/month/student + utilities, amounting to 70-80 Euros/month/student.

Rented Accommodation: The price is approximately 200 EUR per person (2 persons allowed) for a furnished flat with gas heating, located near the city centre and/or the faculty buildings of the University.

 

Useful information:

  • Craiova is a city in the southwest of Romania close to the Serbian and Bulgarian border; It is the largest city and capital of the Dolj County
  • There are canteens on campus where students can get reasonable priced food
  • Craiova can offer anything you need in a city - sightseeing, museums, shopping facilities, parks, in- and outdoor activities, sports activities and much more
  • Bars, clubs and other nightlife facilities are available to extensively enjoy the nights out
  • Romania is a comparably cheap country - the monthly living expenses and prices are therefore comparably low
