Dr Sigrún Lilja Einarsdóttir awarded a fellowship at University of Oxford
Dr Sigrún Lilja Einarsdóttir, assistant professor and Head of Department of Social Sciences has been awarded a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship to undertake research at the Faculty of Music, University of Oxford for the academic year 2016 – 2017.

Total of 40 exchange students this spring semester
40 exchange students from 13 countries are currently studying at the University of Bifrost this fall semester. Most of them come from Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary. The exchange students make their mark on society by their presence, the group this year is both quick to adapt to new conditions and to meet local fellow students.

The International Coordinator visited partner universities in Singapore
Karl Eiríksson the International Coordinator at Bifröst University went to Singapore at the end of October and visited two of our partner universities, SP Jain School of Global Management and Singapore Management University. The purpose of the trip was to present the Summer School 2016.

Visiting professor from Canada
Dr. Carolyn Crippen, associate professor of leadership studies at University of Victoria in Canada, was a visiting professor at Bifröst University this fall. She was also the main speaker at a very successful Servant leadership conference last month, held at Bifröst by the Greenleaf Center in Iceland and Bifröst University.

Bifröst University celebrates 60 years at Bifröst campus
On June 19 2015 Bifröst University celebrates 60 years on the campus at the site of Bifröst where it is currently operating from. To celabrate the milestone and also 100 years of women´s right to vote all women on Bifröst campus are invited to a reception in Kringla on Friday the 19th between 17.00-19.00.
