Faculty of Business
The Faculty of Business is the oldest academic unit at Bifröst University, with roots dating back to 1918 and the establishment of the School of Cooperation, founded to educate the business leaders of its time.
Today, the Faculty continues to offer specialised education in leadership and management, with a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes. Its aim is to equip students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to develop their careers in business and take on roles of responsibility and leadership.
Learning at Bifröst is hands-on and practice-based. Through project-based learning, students apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. This is particularly evident in the annual undergraduate projects, where students collaborate in groups on live assignments in areas such as entrepreneurship and data science.
Most courses are taught in Icelandic; however, international undergraduate students are welcome to study for a semester at Bifröst University through Erasmus and other bilateral exchange agreements with universities across Europe.
