Education and Career Counseling
The education and career counselor works on behalf of students and look out for there best interests. The service is individualized and conducted in confidence. The goal of counseling is to promote student well-being, enhance their skills and self-awareness in order to achieve the best possible results in their studies, and help them find a path that aligns with their interests and abilities.
The counselor provides students with guidance and support in study organization, academic and career choices, well-being and health.
Students seeking assistance for their particular disability (example: dyslexia, ADHD and Tourette´s) must apply for academic accommodations from the University before the end of September (in the case of the autumn semester) or before the end of January (for the spring semester). All requests must be accompanied by a certificate or explanatory letter from a specialist.
Counseling sessions take place via online meetings, by phone or at the school office at Borgartún 18, on weekdays from 09:00 to 15:00.
