Research centres

Bifröst University is committed to active research within its academic fields. The University’s Research Centre supports academic staff in their research activities and promotes collaboration between researchers both within Iceland and internationally. The Bifröst campus provides an excellent environment for research and study, and the University has hosted numerous conferences and seminars in recent years. Through support for research grant applications and academic networking, the Research Centre aims to strengthen international cooperation.

Bifröst‘s Research Center has in recent years worked on various projects both in research and consultation for the private and public sector. The Center also conducts surveys in cooperation with our researchers or in private partnerships. Surveys are administered as telephone surveys, via mail or email. The Center also provides research assistance to students.

As an active part of the University's Research Policy four independent research centres are operated at Bifröst; Bifröst Research Centre, Centre for European Studies, Centre for Retail Studies and Cultural Research Studies.
