International Office

At Bifröst University, strong emphasis is placed on international collaboration and on providing a wide range of opportunities for study and cooperation across borders. Students have the opportunity to undertake part of their studies at one of Bifröst University's partner institutions abroad, with the coursework recognised as part of their degree programme, ensuring that no valuable study time is lost. Studying abroad is a highly rewarding experience that prepares students for further study and employment in an international environment, while also offering the chance to experience new cultures, enhance language skills, and broaden their horizons.

The University participates in the Erasmus+ programme, which promotes increased mobility among students and staff and strengthens international connections in education and research. Bifröst is also a member of the University of the Arctic (UArctic), an international network of universities and organisations in the Arctic region that works to advance education, research, and collaboration across the North.

Through its participation in these international partnerships and initiatives, Bifröst University provides a strong platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and international experience, benefiting students, staff, and the wider university community alike.
