Taking an Innovative and STEAM Approach for a Transdisciplinary University

The objective of the project is to enhance transdisciplinarity at HEIs and to support students in developing their abilities to think divergently, creatively, and critically.

OBJECTIVES:

In higher education, teachers play a crucial role in imparting skills and knowledge to students and young researchers. The traditional approach to education involved distinct disciplines and subjects, but societal and scientific complexities require a change. The CT.Uni project aims to explore creativity, innovation, and a STEAM approach in higher education. It seeks to encourage transdisciplinary thinking among students, teachers, and management staff across disciplines, and to foster innovation and collaboration with external partners for a modern university. The overall objective is to enhance transdisciplinarity, promote creative thinking, and drive innovation in higher education.

Specific objectives:

• Enhancing transdisciplinarity at Universities and facilitating cooperation across disciplines
• Supporting students in developing their abilities to think divergently, creatively, and critically
• Exploring the ways teachers, researchers and management staff cooperate with external institutions as essential partners for a modern university
