On the 10th of January, we had the pleasure to meet Professor Dr Anazawa Makoto, Director of Headquarters for International Relations and his colleague Mr Maruyama Kyosuke from Otaru University, Japan.

 

It was an adventurous trip to our campus due to the storm and the cancelled buses, but definitely worth it. Mr Anazawa and Mr Maruyama were amused by the astonishing surroundings, but not too surprised by the weather, as they have had experience with it also in North Japan. Our rector, Dr Vilhjálmur Egilsson has greeted them with a cosy dinner at the hotel and exchanged exciting facts about the two institutions.
