Academic Calendar: The Academic Year is divided into two semesters:

There are 7 dormitories available for students (6 in Pilsen, 1 in Cheb), with more than 3,000 beds (approx. 2,800 in Pilsen and 204 in Cheb). Students may choose from single, two-bed, three-bed, or four-bed rooms. Toilets and showers are common to all and they are situated across the hall. Some rooms have their own toilet and bathroom. The accommodation cost ranges from 1,900 to 2,590 CZK per month. Internet connection is available in the dormitories. Students are further provided with a kitchen equipped with cooker and fridge, and laundry facilities. Some buildings are easily accessible. A cycle depository is available in some dormitories. Adjacent sports areas and student clubs are available for students during their leisure time.
Living expenses:
Monthly expenses during studies at Czech universities are approximately 6,000 CZK. This sum includes:
Accommodation: 3,000 CZK / per month
Board: 2,500 CZK / per month
Public transport (1 month subscription fare): 300 CZK
Other expenses (study materials, cultural events, etc.): 1,500 CZK
Travel expenses to/from the Czech Republic and other expenditures, such as garments, are not included.
