Useful information:
 
  • Valencia is a city on the eastern coast of Spain and is also the 3rd biggest city of the country
  • It is a very historical city and you can probably never run out of things to do for sightseeing - museums, churches, theatres, ancient buildings and other places
  • You can also visit the zoo, the botanical gardens, parks and the aquarium or go to the cinemas to watch a movie or do some shopping; There are also a lot of different markets for fresh food and also for clothes
  • The climate in Valencia is warm throughout the whole year
  • The city offers plenty of restaurants and lot of them have huge terraces so that you can enjoy your foor outside especially at the harbour; Many different cuisines can be found in Valencia but you should not miss to eat Spanish food especially some Valencian Paella; The nightlife in Valencia is excellent with a huge variety of different clubs, bars and discos but also beach parties
  • There is definitely no lack of beaches in Valencia and surroundings - that means you can easily and extensively enjoy the good weather by hanging out at the beach; Beach and water sports are widespread and are offered at many places; Other sport activities are also offered in a large quantity
  • One special thing about Valencia is Las Fallas festival in spring - it is a very unique festival where the whole city is literally set afire; The inhabitants build so called ninots ("puppets") which are then set on fire at the same time and only one ninot gets spared that fate; It is all about partying and having fun, also a lot of fireworks is included; The whole city is participating and the festival is accompanied by all kinds of side events
