Holdings
Dewey Decimal classification
The library holdings are classified by the DDC system. This means that books are given a class number and the first three letters of the authors name (surname for foreign authors, first name for Icelandic authors) or title, so that Armstrongs handbook on Human resourches management is placed on the shelf with the number 658.3 Arm. These holdings you will see when you search for printed books in the library catalog but you are also welcome to browse the shelves.
