  • Frankfurt am Main is one of the biggest cities in Germany – it is one of the most important financial centres of the world and where the ECB headquarters are located
  • Frankfurt is located along the river Main in the centre of Germany and is therefore located in the heart of Europe
  • The university is an excellent private business school with a modern campus and all kinds of student initiatives; The school is officially recognised as a higher education institution with the rank of a university by the German authorities
  • The city has a lot of cultural sights to offer as well as museums, theatres, an opera house, cinemas and a huge variety of budget and high-class shopping facilities
  • There is a wide range of leisure time activities – actually the same as in every metropolitan area – from fitness studios and indoor swimming pools to all kinds of outdoor activities such as running, cycling and many more in either the local parks or the nearby recreation areas
  • Frankfurt has an extensive nightlife to offer – many bars, clubs and discos for every taste including several different music festivals throughout the year
  • The public transportation system is very well developed and enables people to travel to every spot all over the world; Frankfurt is also hosting the biggest airport in Germany and the third biggest in Europe
