Bifröst University participates in Iceland's national electronic periodical and database subscription, which can be accessed through the portal:
Hvar?is  Here there is access to the full text of articles from more than 14,000 periodicals, as well as abstracts of articles from more than 6.000 periodicals, 12 databases, the full text of over 10.000 analytical reports and 500 electronic books. Access is limited to users in Iceland, who are connected to an Icelandic Internet server. Access: Open.

Jstor collection Publisher: JSTOR. Digital collection of key periodicals in business studies and economics, law, education, mathematics and statistics, from the beginning of publication, in some cases in the 1800s. JSTOR does not include the last 2–3 years.
Access: Subscription, open from all University computers.

 

Karnov og Ugeskrift for Retsvæsen Publisher: Thomson. Karnov Lovsamling is a Danish legal collection. Ugeskrift for Retsvæsen is a weekly periodical which includes Danish judgements and articles about law. The database is updated daily.
Access: Subscription, open from all University computers.


Morgunblaðið - database Publisher:Árvakur h.f. Access: Students receive a password in the library.


OECDiLibrary  Publisher: Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.  Access: Subscription, open from all university computers.


Réttaríkið Publisher: Lánstraust h.f. Icelandic Supreme Court judgements from 1 January 1958 (updated weekly). Access: Law students receive a password.

Bifröst University uses Gegnir – the national library catalogue system – and it is freely available to anyone who has access to the World Wide Web. Gegnir is an information source which gives information on most of the collections of Iceland's libraries, as well as material from Iceland's major periodicals which is entered into Gegnir so that it gives information about the articles that have appeared in them.

 

Skemman. Skemman is the online institutional repository for The Agricultural University of Iceland, The Iceland Academy of the Arts, The National and University Library, The University of Akureyri, The University of Bifröst, The University of Iceland and The University of Reykjavik. It houses students' digital theses and dissertations as well as articles and other research material from the universities' academic staff
