In addition to the Director, Academic Services is staffed by the employees responsible for the Námskjár, master’s studies, continued education, the Preparatory Department, distance learning, fee collection and examinations.  Academic Services is responsible for information on students; including course history, enrolment in and withdrawals from courses, and grade registration.Bifröst University uses the INNA registration system.

Academic Services handles enrolment and graduation and supervises the academic schedule, preparation of timetables, division into groups, classroom arrangements and teaching assessment for courses. The Director of Examinations supervises the preparation of examination schedules and organisation of examinations. Examination schedules are published on the school website approximately four weeks before the start of examinations; the final examination period is included in the schedule for each academic year. Students are given an opportunity to see their reviewed submissions two weeks after the conclusion of examinations.

The Námskjár is an electronic learning environment for students and teachers. Teachers make study materials available in the Námskjár, use it to hand out additional material and assignments, accept submissions of completed assignments and provide feedback. The Námskjár contains a variety of information, such as teaching plans and various notifications, discussion forums for individual courses and more.

Formal graduations from Bifröst University take place in February, June and September each year. Registration for graduation takes place by electronic means and notifications are sent to students.

Upon graduation, students receive a graduate certificate, two copies of their course history (in Icelandic and English with ranking) and a Diploma Supplement. The"Diploma Supplement is issued in a widely spoken European language (English), given automatically and free of charge to every student upon graduation". The Diploma Supplement is a description of the studies students have completed and also contains a short description of the Icelandic higher education system and its structure. Students generally submit the Diploma Supplement when applying for admission to universities abroad.
