Note: 695-9901 is also the number of the security guard (on duty from 17:00-08:00 on weekdays and from 17:00 on Friday to 08:00 on Monday). If you need emergency assistance during these hours (or want to register a complaint due to disturbance/noise after midnight), contact the security guard.
Housing inspections (for students moving out) are made during regular working hours. When moving, please call 695-8908 before 11:00 to arrange for a housing inspection. The tenant (or the tenent’s representative) must be present.

Extra keys can be picked up at the front desk of University Office.
To request an extra bed, call 695-9908. Extra beds are stored in the basement of the Hamragarðar building and can be picked up by appointment.
*Relocation charge: Students moving between housing units of a comparable size must pay a relocation charge. This does not apply to students moving from Skógarsel to another 3-room apartment on campus. Couples expecting a child and families entitled to move from a 2-room to a 3-room apartment (or from a 3-room to a 4-room apartment) are also exempt from this charge.
