(Distance studies and summer programme)
Masters studies in international finance are designed for applicants who are already working, or who are interested in working, for financial undertakings or who are involved in the financial affairs of other undertakings in Iceland or elsewhere.
It is important for those who are interested in working for finance-related undertakings to understand the nature and workings of the financial market and the finances of their clients; similarly, it is important for those whose employment concerns their employers’ finances to understand the principles of the financial market, its requirements and opportunities.
The studies are ideal for those who are interested in participating in rebuilding the Icelandic financial system through financial undertakings or other undertakings. Students will have an opportunity to complete a part of their studies in foreign partner universities.
The studies comprise 10 courses of 60 ECTS credits and a paper of 30 ECTS credits, or 15 courses of a total of 90 ECTS credits and no final paper.
