The Faculty of Business offers a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Business Administration and master's degrees (MS) in International Business, International Finance and Banking and in Health Services Management.
In the undergraduate program all principal aspects of administration, management and business are taught. The syllabus is designed to give students an all-round preparation for managerial positions involving leadership and responsibility in a competitive environment, both domestically as well as internationally.
During the first four terms, students are mainly taught as a group. They attend lectures and participate in smaller, practical workshops in which they work on a variety of authentic and practically oriented case studies and tasks.
In the third year of studies, most lectures and discussions take place in English, which means that foreign students from Bifröst's partner universities abroad can join in, and that Icelandic students can prepare themselves for work in an international environment.
All students complete their undergraduate degree with a final 15 ECTS credit thesis.
