University Concerts 2009
University conserts are held on the last Wednesday of the month, Oct. - May. They start at 17.00 in Hrifla or at Kaffi Bifröst. No entrance fee.
Trio Andrésar Þórs. In the trio are Andrés Þór Gunnlaugsson who plays the guitar, Birgir Bragason on double bass and Scott McLemore on drums
Jazz trio Árna Heiðars Karlssonar on piano, Gunnars Hrafnssonar on dobule bass and Matthías Hermstock on drums
Magnús Eiríksson and Pálmi Gunnarsson. Plays new and old songs
Theodóra Þórðardóttir soprano and Ingibjörg Þorsteinsdóttir piano. Music by Icelandic composer Sveinbjörn Sveinbjörnsson, Ravel and Dvorak. Opera arias and songs from well known musicals. Hrifla.
Gunnar Þórðarson - composer, plays his own music at Kaffi Bifröst.
Söngbræður - a local male choir, various music, conducted by Viðar Guðmundsson. Hrifla.
Tómas R. Einarsson´s trio and singer Ragnheiður Gröndal. Music from the CD Trúnó. The concert takes place in Hrifla.

Guðrún Ingimarsdóttir soprano and Jónína Erna Arnardóttir piano. The programme consists of music from a new CD "Northern Lights" and songs from Icelandic theatrical works.

Sopran Ingveldur Ýr; Guðríður Sigurðardóttir pianist and a small choir. Icelandic and American folksongs, well known Icelandic songs, music from musicals by Larson, Gershwin, Menken, Bernstein et.al. Opera music.
