The economy in EVE Online

EVE Online is a universe that has more participants than inhabitants in the Icelandic economy.  This universe is designed such that the same basic economic principals apply within EVE as in the other universe we know as in real life.  EVE Online is therefore an ideal platform to research and learn about individual behavior based on economic and social science principles.  This lecture will review the economy in EVE online and how the universe can be used to teach and train students in business and economics.
 
The chairman for the Icelandic Gaming Industry Association will also give a short introduction about the newly formed association.
